3 Apps for Cat Lovers

1. Neko Astume

I'm not a big gamer, but I got sucked into the Neko Astume craze a few months back. It's a free app, where you decorate your yard with cat toys and food to lure neighborhood cats in.

With time, you can upgrade your toys and get a yard expansion. There are themes you can apply to upgrade the space. My favorite is the Zen theme. Some toys attract exotic cats like Guy Furri (a chef), Joe DiMeowgio (baseball player), etc. :D Warning: addictive!

2. Kitty Weather App

This cute weather app shows different cats depending on the weather.

I have just started playing this. The cats are insanely cute! Think of a modern day Tamagotchi (hope I'm not dating myself too much). :P Gamezebo gave it a meh review, but you decide.

The Amazing Acrocats and Rock Cats in NoHo this weekend!

My friends and I had a blast watching the Acrocats and Rock Cats last weekend. If you are in Los Angeles, I highly recommend you catch their show this weekend in North Hollywood. ^_^ Tuna and the cats are amazing!

Halloween Party Ideas - DIY Litter Box Cake

This a fun way to gross out your party guests this Halloween. Make a litter box cake! It's simple to make and is sure to bring a smile to your friends' faces! Here's a photo of ours from last Halloween.

How To:

• Prep a container with litter box liner.
• Bake a white cake and German chocolate cake.
• Crumble each cake and mix with instant vanilla pudding.
• Add crushed Nilla wafers throughout and top with remaining.
• Melt tootsie rolls in the microwave for 10 seconds, then form into "poop" shapes.
• Top the cake with the "poop."
• For added effect, you can mix some of the crushed wafers with green food coloring and sprinkle over the "poop."

We Got Perk'd! Review on Merrick's Bistro Box from Klout

Mom's incessant Instagramming has finally amounted to something! Klout sent us a yummy picnic treat from Merrick. Of course, the bamboo plates, checkerboard spread and awesome packaging were nothing compared to the NOMs. We loved the wet food especially. Dined gourmet-style with menus and everything. And why not? We are sophisticats, after all. Purrs!
