My Cat Boys - Almost Famous!

Earl Grey and Theodore were asked to do a photo shoot at Catster HQ early this year (formerly Cat Fancy). Catster's Valentines magazine was coming up, and they had not yet settled on a cover shot. They knew they wanted a grey or black-and-white cat, and I happened to have one of each! My sister, Janine Kahn, made the connection, and we scored the opportunity.

We road tripped to Irvine from Los Angeles and met the lovely Catster crew, who helped us settle into the studio. The boys quickly darted out of their carriers and found strategic hiding places. Theodore curled inside an upright carpet, and Earl Grey ran behind the bookshelf.

With a good amount of coaxing with love calls and treats (and moving furniture around when that didn't work), we managed to snap a few awesome photos of the boys. They refused to warm up to the hand/foot model, so I ended up being in the photos!

We didn't make the cover, but I am so pleased at how the photos turned out. :) Shout out to Gina Cioli, the pawsome photographer, and Cheryl Regan, who coordinated the shoot and made the cats feel at home!
